Arthur Riggs prefers to remain reclusive and would rather eat shark droppings as to step into the limelight. Center stage isn’t one of his favorite spots to be, but does reluctantly volunteers some biography. Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia in 1943 and raised in St. Marys, West Virginia by his Quaker Grandmother leaving out the grandfather who was there but wasn’t. He served in the military from 1962-1966. He was married for five (5) minutes and divorced. He moved to Georgia in 1967 and remains till this day. He lives in Heard County, Georgia. Arthur prefers his animals to people, but will tolerate bipeds, that have a sense of humor and use it. Realism is not one of his virtues and this is reflected in his work. Celebrities, (which have to go unnamed, one of who is a famous Atlanta Braves), and corporations are on the list of Arthur’s clients.
